My goodness what a week I've had! Some weeks are like that aren't they? But today I am home and rejoicing in the many blessings in my life. Another Sunday also means that Stampin' Sisters in Christ has another challenge based on scripture for you!
This week Candace is the challenge hostess this week and she chose a verse from Proverbs 30:5. Be sure to read her devotion for this week over on SSIC, I am sure it will be wonderful!
Don't forget to stop by my SSIC design sisters (listed on the sidebar) to see what they have to share this week.

A quick card this week and a quick post - sorry about that. It is wonderful how God works though. As I stated in my opening, it was a busy week; my neighbor, who we loved dearly, passed away on Tuesday and everything at work went wrong and then today my printer died! But when I saw the card that I had made early in the week I noticed again the sentiment I had chosen from ODBD and it calmed me. Such a wonderful reminder of my many, many blessings and the One who bestows them on me."Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
The challenge this week is; Use a sentiment only - no images!

This is gorgeous Miesje. If we would praise Him more then we complain we would be a happier lot. :)
Lovely card Miesje!!!
Hi Miesje! Sorry your week was SO busy! Hope this next week is a wonderful one! Your card and the sentiment are truly beautiful. The embossing and the black & white...such an elegant look!
Blessings to you & yours!

One more thing, Miesje...I'm at home with a cold tonight, not at church, so I'm listening to a service on the radio. The preacher just said something about how important it is to affirm God's perfect plan for us by repeating the doxology (like even at funerals): "Praise God from whom all blessings flow"! I thought that was so amazing after having just read your comments only moments before! I'm listening, God!
Hugs!

Miesje, gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. He brings blessings in the storms of life...maybe even more then than when we are having our "sunny" days. You've had a full plate, but I know you feast first on God Himself and His bountiful Word. Blessings this week....through any "weather" you encounter! Hugs!
