MY PROJECTS:

I made 2 cards for this hop, both are rather simple but I am away for the weekend and had a lot to get ready, especially for work. I certainly hope that this post comes off without a hitch. The first card was made using 3 images from Sending You Love and the Sending You Love Sentiments. I love how I could layer the images in Word and make them all into one image. I added a little bling and I am ready with another valentine to send to a loved one.

The second card didn't turn out the way I had envisioned it. I wanted to use my newly purchased hearts Spellbinder's dies to make a shape card. I loved the little dogs with the heart image from the Snowbaby Love set. I had some white flocking that I found somewhere once and tried to make that as a background, it was very hard to do and I am not sure I like it much. Oh well, no time to make another now.

Thanks for visiting and for commenting! Be sure to hop and leave a comment on each designer's blog for your chance to win a $20 GC!!

Hope: Lamentations 3:24

I really like this verse and I think it was the right one for this week. It is a simple verse that speaks to me about always being hopeful. Nothing in my life is too difficult for Him to help me through. He is a part of me, therefore my heart and soul knows that all is well.

I made this card using Daydream Designs Scripture Set 2. There are 3 sets in all where each of us on the DT chose our favorite verse. This particular verse was chosen by the wonderfully talented Kris. I made the background with a Cuttlebug folder and used just the simplest of embellishments, I wanted the verse to speak.

Rejoice: Psalm 118:24

It was one of those weeks! I think that after being off for 2 weeks it was an adjustment to get back into the routine. It has also been unseasonably warm here in Florida. We are in the 80s and I do not like it! We only have a couple of months of "winter weather" and I like them. I want soup, hot cocoa, sweater weather and am getting salad, ice tea, tank top weather! So this verse had a message for me! I have to stop grousing about the sunshine and balmy breezes and rejoice in this day!

I made this card using Daydream Designs Scripture Set 3. There are 3 sets in all where each of us on the DT chose our favorite verse. This particular verse was chosen by me, I love this verse because I love rejoicing! I made the background using a sponge and a homemade template. I think it turned out well. I also glittered up the dove a bit.

Lots of Love!

I have a little more lovin' to share today. I really meant to post this earlier in the week but life (work) interfered. I have always loved this verse and it is so perfect for for Valentine's Day. It was the Snowbabies Sentiment set from Daydream Designs.

This card was simple and easy to make. I had tons of fun photographing it out in my back yard. My geraniums are doing awesome this year and I placed this card in one of my hanging pots and shot the photo looking up at it. Other than the shadows from the flowers I thought it turned out really neat!

A Little Lovin'

I am ready to share a little love! Valentine's Day is not that far away and these little "Snowbaby Love Girls" from Daydream Designs were ready to show you some of that lovin'.

It is always a good time to share some love. We don't have to wait till Valentine's Day. I really had  fun making these cards. The 2 cards look very different even though the same stamps and digi designer paper was used on both. I love the pink and reds and will be sending these to 2 of my grand-daughters in a few weeks - I hope they aren't peeking!

Peace: Isaiah 54:13

Back to work after a wonderful Christmas vacation. I am not sure if I am ready but I am thankful that I have a job and that it is a job that I love.

I teach in a Catholic grade school where we start and end each day with prayer. It is so wonderful to be able to share my faith with the children at the school - at my job. So going back to work tomorrow is not so bad, in fact, I am thankful for my job, for the opportunity to share that which is closest to my heart. My love for God and my  love for family!

I made this card using Daydream Designs Scripture Set 3. There are 3 sets in all where each of us on the DT chose our favorite verse. This particular verse was chosen by Michelle. Thank you Michelle!
