I love the way this card turned out, and it was really the last card I made after watching Melanie's tutorial and used her stamp set called A Year of Flowers 2. The paper was GKD white and Jelly Bean Green. This was a really fun technique - thanks Melanie!
I made this card for my dear daughter-in-law. I used 3 different stamp sets; Blossom which was one of the stamps from the last Stamp TV kit, Stamp it Big! 2, and Vogue Vases 2. The heart was made using the patterned paper called Winter Whimsy. The green of the ribbon and the flowers match better in person then on the photo. The blossoms were stamped on one of Gina's first packs of patterned paper that came in a Stamp TV kit. I played around with the layout for a while on this one.
This last card was made using Sweet Strawberries and the technique I used was paper piecing. That's right I did not color I stamped the leaves and the strawberries on the GKD Pure Luxury Cherry Red and Grass Green. I know I tossed in a little bit of a very light blue - forgive me!
Now be sure to hop on over to check out what Lori McAree has created for us to see. If you want to start over you can go to StampTV for links to all the hoppers. And don't forget to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, May 28. Good Luck!
Thanks for the visit!

love the cards!!
I love the use of a different shade of red or green as a color combination. It leaves a more subdued tone.
Beautiful cards! Your paper-piecing is fantastic. Looks great! http://sharonscreative.blogspot.com
Gorgeous samples! Thanks!
Great ideas for us. I love your tulips.
Love the love. Red is such a good color.
The tulips are my favorite! I think it's the jelly bean green paper that attracts me to it!
All are wonderful cards. Love the tulip.
A great card. I like that you paper pieced instead of coloring.
Love your cards! I think red and green look great any time of year.
These are so prey. I don't know how you cut those pieces so perfectly. Great job.
So pretty! The first is my favorite!
Lovely cards. I especially like the sponged background technique on the first one and the way you've positioned the tulips. It's surprising the way some colors look different on photographs when IRL they match another element so well. The strawberry card is 'delicious.'
Your cards are so neat love the tulips
You've been a very busy lady! Love all your sweet projects especially that strawberry one:-)
Oh so awesome! Love them all!
