Birthday Bunch
Oh what fun this this stamp set is! I colored the images with Distress Oxide Inks and water, another fun and different way for me. I made this card for my grandson and I used the sketch challenge on MFT as my inspiration. This stamp set is called Birth-Yah!

Coral Birthday
Another card for Karen's color challenge on Gina K. The coral color was with some Distress Oxide inks. I tried to get as close to coral as as possible. I used the Peach Bellini card stock for the flowers and popped a few beads in the center of the flowers. The stamp set is Lisa's Something Good and the word Birthday is from another GKD stamp set but I didn't write it down. Sorry.
And here is a photo of the inside of the card.

95th Birthday Card
My mother-in-law turned 95 last week - this is the card I made for her following the challenge on GKD. I did not have the exact color called for so I used Peach Bellini - such a pretty color! I used the Mandala Stencil for the background and stamped an image from a much loved stamp set called "You Have my Heart" and the sentiment from Time to Celebrate - all from GKD. I colored some twine using the ink pad. She loved the card!
I reread the instructions for this challenge and realized that I had not taken a photo of the inside of the card! Oh no...what to do. Well I just created another card since I had already given that card to my dear mom-in-law and photographed the inside of the card. Here it is.

Huge Love
Are you tired of these monsters yet? Apparently I am not! This is for the Color Challenge 110 over at MFT and I completed another Valentine's Card for one of my cute little Monsters! All coloring was done with Copics.
I have not been giving much information because no one is really following my blog. So I am just using it to post my cards and as a record for myself while pretending to have an audience! HaHa!

Green Birthday
As background for these "monster" card postings I have 15 grandsons from ages 4 months to 18. I "NEED" monster birthday cards and monster valentine cards. This card used Monster Sized stamp set and a present from the Christmas set called BB Santa's Elves. This card will work for 2 of the challenges over at MFT site this week. I need some spending money for the great new release!

Monstrous Love
Oh this sketch was fun - especially thinking of and planning for valentine cards for my grand-kids. I love playing with alcohol inks and often save panels for use later. It is a dark and gloomy day here today (rare for Florida) so the colors in the picture do not do it justice. The panel is many shades of purple with silver foil spots in it - the sentiment was silver embossing although it looks gold in the picture it is most definitely silver. The hearts were from a red alcohol ink panel also with some silver flecks.
This card is for the MFT sketch challenge and was made with Monster Sized stamp set.

Love You
This card, though it looks rather simple, took me a while to make. There were stops and goes and redoes and grumbling, I just had a really difficult time pulling it all together. I still don’t “love it” because it didn’t turn out the way it was in my mind.
I made this for the January challenge on GKD which was to use a sentiment as the mail image. I used one of the foil sentiments that Gina sold last year, it was the background that had me frustrated. I ended up using one of the stamps from Lisa Hetrick called Just a Little and then I used foil on score tape as stripes and on the bottom border. The sentiment was foiled and I used the tag die from the GKD Foil and stamps collection. I couldn't find it on the beautiful new website but that is where I got it.
Thanks for looking and have a week filled with blessings.

Birthday Bears
These bears from MFT are just too cute! The bear on the bottom is holding a present for the Birthday Project challenge for MFT. I used the tiny bears and lots of glittery paper for this card.

Anniversary Flamingo Love
I just love these "Christmas Flamingos" so after removing the antlers they were perfect for an anniversary card. This is for me 5th son and his wife for their January anniversary. It was very cold on their wedding day - even for here in Florida! This was a fun card to make for the sketch challenge.
I used the Festive Flamingos and Stitched Valley from the wonderful MFT collection. This card is for the Sketch Challenge this week.
Happy Birthday Sis
My sister is a budding sketcher and watercolor artist. I am really proud of her. My love is still card making and dabbling with paints as backgrounds is about as artsy as I get. So this is her birthday card.
This card is for the GinaKDesigns challenge for this year and on their new updated website! I created the background with some sparkly watercolors and then stamped the sentiment from the Grand Greetings stamp set. I also added the wonderful checked ribbon. It was a quick card to make but I do like how it turned out.

December Birthday
I have 4 birthdays in the month of December and all my creativity is being sucked out making Christmas cards! So this one is rather simple for my grandson - I made a similar one for my granddaughter but used different colors. so this is it for this sketch challenge.

Elf
This is a last minute card and no natural light to take a better picture. I used some alcohol background as a backdrop for the elf then a few presents perfect for spoiling!

Joy to the World
Joy to the World - the Joy card kit I got is so wonderfully versatile. This card may look pretty simple but it did take me a while. I used the double stitched die for the straight red strips on the background and then thought that there was too much white space so free cut thin strips of green to place in between. Then it still looked too plain so I added the bow on the top. I do like the final result of this card.

Christmas Gifts
Another Christmas card is in the books - I love sketch challenges most of all. That is what gets my creative juices flowing more than any other challenges. Thanks My Favorite Things for having one every week! I am not thrilled with the way that the stocking turned out but overall it worked.

Spoiling
I had to make another card with these cute elves and decided to try using it for the MFT sketch challenge. I am not too thrilled with this one but it is done now. I used some white snow for the stocking and hat.

Christmas Elf
I had so much fun with this sketch that I made a second card using the adorable Santa's Elves set from MFT. I found some white flock that I had from eons ago and use that for the hat. I had a heck of a time with the Moroccan Die - it was tough to die cut and took a long time getting the pieces out. But if you don't look too close you can't tell (too much)!
Delightful Deer
This is for the sketch challenge at MFT. The photo doesn't show the silver glitter paper circle or the glittery silver sentiment but it does shine. And "YEAH" I have another Christmas card done! This is using the Delightful Deer dies from MFT, and they truly are delightful!

Christmas Deer
My first Christmas card for 2018! I loved these Delightful Deer die set the moment I saw them on MFT! I made the star using a self made stencil, sponged the inside with dark blue ink and then I used some Decofoil on the the dots. It is really hard to see but those dots glitter and shine. I put the cute cardinal on the lovely script sentiment that was not from MFT but I loved that one.

Birthday Chicks - Gift Card Holder
The photo didn't come out very well because it is a silver metal gift box container. I created a circle tag with the Birthday Chicks stamp set on an alcohol ink background piece that I had made with gold foil in it. I am sorry about the picture though, it truly is prettier in real life. The colors are purple and yellow.
