Boy Birthday: Romans 3:23-24

Hello fellow stampers and friends, it is another Sunday which means that Stampin' Sisters in Christ has another challenge based on scripture for you!

This week Jerusha is the challenge hostess and the verse she chose is from Romans 3:23-24. Be sure to read her devotion for this week over on SSIC, her words are always inspirational.
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins."
You know that is an incredible responsibility - we have been set free! Yet how often I fall short. I know how difficult it is to live up to that "glorious standard". I can have the best intentions every morning when I read my devotions and say my prayers, but sometime during that day I will stumble. I think that, for me, being a Christian and knowing that I have a responsibility to Jesus for that gift of freedom I realize pretty quickly that I need to straighten up and walk straight! I am so thankful for that gift!
The challenge this week is; use only bright colors, no neutrals, blacks, browns, etc.

This week our sponsor is The Craft's Meow. You can pick a stamp set of your choice. I used one of their stamp sets called Vintage Rides. It is perfect for masculine (both young and old) cards!

Don't forget to stop by my SSIC design sisters (listed on the sidebar) to see what they have to share this week.
It is always great to see you, thanks for the comments and have a wonderful week surrounded with God's love.

Hi sweet Miesje! This card is just SO DARLING, and I love that darling little airplane. I'm most definitely going to play along at SSIC this week. The Cat's Meow has got the most adorable stamps. Super exciting! I did want to know the rules at SSIC as to how many entries are allowed (if you get a chance, can you stop by my blog and let me know? Thanks so much).
I have been SO blessed by the sweet fellowship of your DT Members and the love we all share for the Lord. Word Art Wednesday has also been blessed by our "Sister Site" connection, and I always LOVE seeing your sweet DT Members share their art with us, as you do so faithfully. Thanks SO MUCH for all you do to help spread God's love through your art. You are a blessing!

Hope you're having a great week, and a restful Lord's Day today. Lots of love coming your way!
Blessings

Miesje, what a lovely, bright card for this week! Your card last week would almost qualify as well, the balloons and orange swirly background would have been perfect as well. Love reading your thoughts, always.
