A Child is Born: Matthew 2: 10-11

Welcome to the last challenge from Stampin' Sisters in Christ. Life takes twists and turns and occasionally we all need to reassess where we are and where we are going. Stamping Sisters in Christ is closing it's challenge blog after much prayer and discernment.  We never know where the Lord takes us though, so we could reopen at a later date. But, for now, the blog is sending you one more great message and challenge - make a Christmas card. We, on the design team, all chose to keep the focus of the Christmas card on Jesus.

Kris is the challenge hostess and the verse she chose is Matthew 2: 10-11.
Matthew 2:10-11 - "They rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And... presented gifts to Him."
I believe that this verse speaks for itself - a wonderful reminder as we enter into the Christmas season that the focus should remain on Jesus at all times.

I used the wonderful colorized digital images from Daydream Design set called Little Bits of Christmas.

Our sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry with 3 digis of you choice.

Don't forget to stop by my SSIC design sisters (listed on the sidebar) to see what they have to share this week.

It is always great to see you, thanks for the comments and have a wonderful week surrounded with God's love.

I personally want to thank Kris for the the work she put into this amazing blog. She, and the rest of the design sisters are the best! We truly are like sisters and vow to stay in touch. Peace to you all and I will still be hopping around - making cards - and entering challenges. Good things are ahead with God at the helm!

Oh, my goodness! I just love this card, Miesje! What a gorgeous background...just the perfect rustic touch. I love the way you showcased the image and the 3-D star above it. Such a beautiful way to proclaim the miraculous message of Christmas! You are delight to me, and I'm so grateful that we connected first through SSIC. I'm doubly grateful that we can continue our journey as sisters in our faith through Daydream Design. Your art and your heart are such a blessing to me!

LOVE your card Miesje! The background is just perfect all sponged and embossed and that star above the manger--love it! You are such a sweet friend Miesje and I'm so thankful the Lord brought us together at SSiC. You've been such a big help to Lisa and I by posting the awards etc, and your friendship has meant a lot. I count it a joy to pray for your family, as well as all my sistahs and I'm glad we'll be on DD together. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
