CSS Sketch Challenge - 10-8-2013

I love sketch challenges and this one was fun. You should have arrived from Tera Fujan where I am sure you saw a wonderful project with this sketch!

I used some of my favorite color combos for this - ivory and black. I used the GKD pure luxury Ivory and just a small panel of the black. I also have to give a call out to the new GKD ink pads - the black is so crisp and clear. This was a simple card using the ribbon and buttons. The stamps were from one of the new duos called Time.

I threw together another quick card tonight waiting for the Rays baseball game to start (unfortunately we lost). I used the new stamp set called Christmas Joy.
Now you have to hop on over to check out what Melisa Waldorf has created for us to see.

Make sure to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, October 15.

Thanks for the visit!

Both cards are a wonderful inspiration for the design sketch. I love the black and ivory "Time" card. That's a favorite color palette of mine too. A beautiful clean and simple card. Love it. Your Christmas tree card is sweetly embellished and shaded.

Really like the looks of these cards! I usually use a lot of color in my cards, but I like what you did with the black and ivory. I'm going to have to try something like that.

The clock card was so lovely and clean, just what you often need in a card and you did it so well! The Tree is super too...one you could make a stack of for special friends.
Thanks!
