Winter Hugs

I know - a winter card in August - what is wrong with me? Well, there was this challenge that was for a winter card with embellishments for StampTV. The winner gets free stamps! What I won't do for free stamps!

So since I was making this card strictly for a challenge I decided to look at other challenges and maximize my chances for a win.The challenges are listed below. I saw many other blogs do it this way and looked much easier to do it that way.


This card was such fun to make. Being a Florida girl I do not see much winter so these are not cards I make very often to send off. So I started by digging through my designer paper, most of what I have was still from Stampin Up and are lovely! This was one of theirs that had not even been opened! Then I matched up the colors and there you go - a card sending Winter Hugs!
