Christmas Blessings: Isaiah 1:18

My goodness what a busy week! I think that these few weeks out of the year are quite busy for many of us. Holiday get-togethers, shopping, cooking, making Christmas cards AND sending them. It is time once again for another challenge from Stampin' Sisters in Christ.

Today Rebekka is the challenge hostess and the scripture she chose is Isaiah 1:18.
Come now, let let us set things right, says the Lord: though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool".
"Come now, let us set things right" - I love that! God forgives - no matter what we do, or fail to do, it can be set right - through the healing love of our Father. I am happy today - well, truth be told I am usually happy. But I have lived in darkness, a darkness of my own doing. When I thought that I had made too many mistakes to ever be forgiven of all of them and that I really did  not deserve to be happy. That was then and this is now. I am happy! And I have my relationship with God to thank for that and my acceptance of the fact that I have been forgiven and I have been washed white as snow and I have every right to be happy. I was able to set things right - with His help.

Be sure to stop by my SSIC design sisters to see what they have to share this week:

Grace Nywening: Th-INK-ing of You
Lisa Hjulberg: The Craft's Meow
Patti J Gilliam: Cherish Each Precious Day
Peggysue Turner: Roses By My Window
Rebekka Reed: Diamond in the Rough
Randi Barret: A New Creation (On break)

Thanks for the visit.

Hi Miesje! Oh I LOVE how you used your new stamp!!! The softness is just incredible and perfect for this challenge! Your words are so appreciated! We all lived in darkness until we met The Light of the world and accepted His forgiveness and how amazing that forgiveness is...So glad we have found that source of JOY!!! Have a great week my sweet sister!
